I'm storytelling specialist, James Morton.
Yeah, I was that kid at school. Always dreaming up a story.
And from journalism to in-house communications to working on brands and campaigns at agencies, I’ve since been creating stories of all shapes and sizes for 20 years.
It was inevitable I’d end up in journalism (that’s why I studied a science degree, obviously). I started in sport, graduated to news and reviewed everything from festivals to theatre.
I found my home in a fire service comms team and started to understand how stories stretched well beyond press releases.
During five ace years with creative agency Alive With Ideas, stories powered every project - campaigns to brands to content.
